The potential for comparative analysis of development trends in the industrial complex of the federal districts

Abstract
This article is devoted to the analysis of the development of the industrial complex of the Southern Federal District in order to identify the main vectors of development and determine the final object of the industrial complex of the region. The dynamics of development over several years makes it possible to determine the general trends and changes that have occurred in industrial production, to identify the subjects of the region with the greatest potential and the subjects of the regions that require additional support. This analysis determines the relevance and necessity of maintaining the existing high growth potential of the industry of the Southern Federal District in the face of external changes.
